Wine Alex Craighead, “Kindeli” Blanco, 2020

Introduction

“Kindeli” Tinto – natural red wine with a pleasant fruity aroma and crispy, fresh, long-lasting taste with high acidity. The wine blend is a combination of Pinot Noir and Syrah varieties grown on gravel-clay soil in Mauter, on top of the South Island of New Zealand. 10% of the crop goes through carbonaceous maceration. The rest is macerated on the skin for five to twelve days with the inclusion of about 10% of the grapes, not separated from the ridges. Fermentation and aging are carried out in stainless steel tanks. Wine is bottled without filtration and without the addition of sulfur.
