Introduction

Amarone wines are considered one of the most noble wines, not only in Italy, but throughout the world. The name “Amarone” comes from the Italian “amaro” – “bitter.” Wines Amarone, indeed, is distinguished by a special piquant bitterness. Amarones special production technology is that mature grapes are dried in special rooms at a controlled temperature after harvest. It lasts from 3 to 4 months. During this time, the moisture from the berries evaporates, and the sugar reaches a high concentration. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12-18 months.
Antiche Terre Venete, Amarone della Valpolicella with proper storage in the cellar (at a controlled temperature, in a horizontal position and in the absence of light) will retain its organoleptic properties for 8-12 years.
