Campagnola today – a large, modern winery, located in the town of Valgatara in the region of Valpolicella Classic. It was founded in 1886 by Carlo Campagnola and his wife Caterina Zardini. In 1926, several brothers, led by Giuseppe Campagnola bought a small restaurant in the center of Porton Borsari, which successfully sold homemade wine. It was here that Giuseppe and his sons Luigi and Giancarlo started to produce classic wines of the region of Verona. Today, now led by the son Luigi – Junior Giuseppe Campagnola, who along with his father and children, representing the fifth generation of the dynasty of winemakers, continues the family business successfully.
Our manufacturing plant is equipped with modern appliances. The whole process is controlled by laboratories that conduct chemical and microbiological analyzes. Top experts pay special attention to improving the production and improve the quality of wine. Currently Campagnola produces wine from its own grapes and additionally buys it at more than 50 farms cultivating about 80 hectares of vineyards. In addition, the company is practicing cooperation with other wineries. So in the area of Bardolino Classico house Campagnola than its own 15 hectares of vineyards handles another 15 hectares together with Tenute Francesco Righetti, and in Friuli they are 30 hectares of cultivated grapes Pinot Grigio. In Soave region shared with the economy Adami are another 20 hectares of vineyards.
