Wine Cennatoio, Etrusco, Toscana IGT, 2018

Introduction

Cennatoio, Etrusco, Toscana IGT – a pleasant dry red wine. It is created from the Sangiovese variety, popular in Tuscany, famous for its intense, rounded flavor and expressive aroma. Vinification involves an extended maceration period on the skin and the use of specially selected yeast for fermentation. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is placed in 300-liter barrels, where it is aged 14-18 months. After that, the wine is bottled, but before it goes on sale, it is additionally kept in bottles for another 6 months.

The label Chennatoyo, Etrusco shows the Etruscan warrior, which explains the name of the wine. Etruscans – an ancient civilization, which in I millennium BC inhabited the territory of modern Tuscany, the culture of which had a significant impact on the development of the Roman Empire.
