Wine Chateau Clamens, “Julie”, Fronton AOP, 2021

Introduction

Chateau Clamens, “Julie” – rich, juicy, refreshing dry ros wine representing the “Ju” line. For its production, grapes of the Negrette, Syrah and Cabernet Franc varieties grown in the south-west of France, in the commune of Fronton, are used. The vineyards practice sustainable agricultural practices. The grapes are harvested mechanically. Then it is completely de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats using cultured yeast. This is followed by a short exposure in steel vats. The wine is excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with seafood and shellfish, white meat dishes, Mediterranean and Oriental cuisine.
