Wine Collezione Famiglia Barbanera, “Vecciano” Bianco, Toscana IGT, 2021

Introduction

Red semi-dry wine “Vecciano” is the author’s wine from the special collection of the winery of the Barbanera (Collezione Famiglia Barbanera). It is created from the grape varieties Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in Tuscany. After fermentation, the wine was aged in oak barrels, which gave the taste a finish and a roundness. This fine, rich wine with a smooth texture and a long aftertaste perfectly complements the dishes of Italian cuisine and any dishes of red meat.
Collegin Familla Barbanera, “Vecchiano” has many prestigious awards in its collection. In recent years, it has won gold medals at the Berliner Wein Trophy in 2016 and 2017, a bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, 2017, and three times (in 2016-2018) received 99 points and the title “Absolutely Best Wine” from the yearbook “Migliori Vini Italiani”.
