Introduction

Elena Walch The company was founded in 1985 and is one of the youngest in the region of Alto Adige. Elena Walch, being an architect, first became involved in winemaking after meeting with her husband Werner Walch, who is a representative of one of the oldest wine dynasties. Here, on the steep southern slopes of Tramin, new vines were planted by local and international grape varieties that give very low, but high yields.
