Wine “Endrizzi” Lagrein, Trentino DOC

Introduction

“Endrizzi” Lagrein – rich, elegant dry red wine made from Lagrein grapes, which is grown in the communes of San Michele al Adige and Faedo on chalk dolomite soils. The local microclimate, with its marked fluctuations between day and night temperatures, makes it possible to produce especially fragrant grapes.

Grapes are harvested by hand and sorted. During vinification, fermentation on the pulp of grapes for 6-8 days in Ganymede vinifiers and malolactic fermentation are used. The wine is then aged in large oak barrels for a short time to maintain the intense fruitiness typical of the Lagrein variety.
