Wine “Haut Vignac” Rouge, Perigord IGP, 2020

Introduction

“Haut Vignac” Rouge is a semi-dry red wine, the blend of which includes four grape varieties traditional for the South-West of France: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The harvest is hand-picked, separated from the stems and crushed. Then follows fermentation at a controlled temperature using selective yeast and maceration for 2 weeks to obtain a soft structure and complexity of the wine. The wine is then aged in special tanks made of stainless steel and concrete. Before bottling, a light sweetening with concentrated must is made to add roundness and sophistication to the wine.
