Wine Italo Cescon, Chardonnay, Piave DOC, 2022

Introduction

“Mejo” Sauvignon, Veneto IGT – refined, elegant white wine, which is used in the production of Sauvignon Blanc grapes growing on the vines Basalghelle, Fontanelle and Codroipo. Harvesting is carried out in the last week of August. Winery berries are brief 6 hour maceration followed by compression in a yield of 50% in wort. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 10 C lasts about 15 days. Matured wine on the lees for 6 months, and then for 120 days in the bottles in the cellar of the winery.
Wine “Mayo” Sauvignon should be served with seafood, grilled fish, cold white meat, desserts and light snacks.
