Wine Kaltern, “Soll” Pinot Grigio, Alto Adige DOC, 2021

Introduction

“Soll” Pinot Grigio – an excellent example of many favorite white wine from Pinot Grigio. Soll vineyard is at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, where the cool nights and constant fresh winds create a favorable temperature difference with warm sunny days. The local climate helps the grapes reach perfect maturity and fully develop their flavors. 20% of the harvested berries passes slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 C. The wine is aged on fine lees in wooden barrels is about 5 months, then the wine is filtered and bottled March.
