Wine La Biancara, “Sassaia”, Veneto IGT, 2010

Introduction

“Sassaia” is an elegant, smooth, natural white wine with an excellent price-quality ratio, which you need and can drink in one go, because when you start drinking, you wont want to stop! This wine really feels that Anjolino Maule put his body and soul into it. “Sassaya” is made from the grapes of Garganega and Trebbiano, grown near the winery, on the hills of Sorio with mineral-rich soil. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in oak barrels with a volume of 30 hl without temperature control. Bottling without cleaning and filtration is carried out in April-May of the following year. Part of the bottling is done without the addition of sulfur dioxide.
