Wine La Sala, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, 2017

Introduction

Refined and sophisticated La Sala, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG are created from the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties grown in the famous Tuscan area of Chianti Classico. Plots with vines are located at an altitude of 200-310 meters above sea level. Sangiovese is harvested in mid-October, and a couple of weeks later, at the end of the month – Cabernet Sauvignon. Maceration takes 3 weeks and is carried out in steel barrels at a temperature of 30 C. Aging lasts at least 18 months, while half of the wine is aged in French oak barrels, and the other half – in barriques that have already been used for aging the wine. After bottling, the wine is aged for an additional 6 months.
