Introduction

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG is an elegant and harmonious wine with a gentle “autumn” character, which has an excellent development potential of 30 years. It is created from Prunyolo with the addition of Merlot.

In the process of vinification the wort is macerated on the skin and fermented in stainless steel vats for 20-25 days. Daily repairs are carried out (transfer of the wort from the tender part of the container to the upper one) in order to achieve the best extraction and ensure the future wine with a rich color and aroma. The wine lasts for two years: the first 12 months in a ton of French oak, and the second 12 months – in large 25-gallon barrels of Slavonian oak.
