“Le Cedre”, 2008 – dry red wine made from Malbec grapes, which are harvested by hand in stages, as the ripening of berries. After collecting the harvest sorted berries are separated from the ridges, squeeze by hand and fermented in large barrels. Then the wine is kept in new oak barriques for 20 months.
Winery Chateau du Cedre is located in the wine region of Cahors. The company is a leading manufacturer of AOC Cahors belongs vinarshistam – brothers Jean-Marc and Pascal Vereg. When creating their unique wines they follow the basic traditions of the production of so-called “black wine”, which is dominated by the main variety Malbec. Brothers actively apply modern technologies, for example, mikrooksigenizatsiyu – saturation of wine with oxygen, and extracts used for large oak barrels, which allow to get a wine with silky tannins.
