“Lamaione” – exclusive Supertuscan wine made from Merlot grapes grown in the vineyard of the same name in the Tenuta Kasteldzhokondo total area of 12 hectares, located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. In September were warm sunny days and cool nights, which contributed to obtaining optimum harvest maturity. After the end of the 12-day fermentation of wort, which take place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature not exceeding 30 C, were produced by 4-week maceration and malolactic fermentation. Excerpt wine in new French oak barrels lasted 24 months. “Lamayone” has an excellent storage capacity – 10-17 years old, with wine can be drunk now.
