Red wine Monteraponi, Chianti Classico is created from grapes Sangiovese and Canaiolo harvested from 15-year-old vines. The wort is vinified in glazed concrete tanks, where no additives and temperature control, are spontaneous fermentation maceration and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 16 months in large French oak barrels and another month – in concrete tanks. Wine is bottled unfiltered and unrefined.
