Introduction

Weissburgunder-Pinot Bianco “Schulthauser” is the star among the wines of San Michele-Appiano. This wine is perhaps most convincingly demonstrates the quality and potential of white wine from South Tyrol, and embodies the philosophy of San Michele-Appiano. Pinot Bianco (Weissburgunder), which made this wine is cultivated on medium and high mountain, where it grows in a lovely atmosphere in the vineyards of the region “Schulthaus”, located at an altitude of 480-550 meters above sea level over the castle Moos Appiano Monte, which ultimately makes it a precious drink.

“Shulthauzer” 2012 – excellent dry white wine with an intense and fruity aroma with interesting nuances of cedar and rich, balanced, perfect velvety taste with elegant fruity aftertaste.

Winery San Michele-Appiano was founded in 1907 and eventually became one of the largest and most successful wine houses of South Tyrol, and then Italy. Today Appiano wine are synonymous with the highest quality, which is a credit to the chief enologist economy – Hans Tertsera.
