Introduction

Siro Pacenti, Brunello di Montalcino “Vecchie Vigne” – a powerful, bold, stylish, deep wine, which made a furor and caused a storm of enthusiasm among wine critics. They note the incredible quality of the wine, its intense fruity, fine structure and versatility of the fragrance. Also, all note the excellent balance, which, in particular, is due to the advanced age of the vines, from which the harvest for the production of wine is collected. Most of them were planted between 1967 and 1972. Vines are grown with absolute respect for the land, and all works in the vineyard are made by hand. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and aging is carried out in 225-liter French oak barrels for 24 months and in bottles after bottling. The wine is not filtered before bottling. A natural sediment, which can sometimes be formed in bottles, is a proof of the philosophy of winemaking Siro Pacenti. Before serving, the manufacturer recommends decanting. The peak of the maturity of the vintage in 2012 will approximately be in 2022-2036.
