Wine Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti Montalbano DOCG Riserva, 2021

Introduction

Chianti “Montalbano” Riserva from the company Tenuta Cantagallo – dry red wine that is produced from famous grape Sangiovese. His crop harvested in mid-October, when fully ripe berries. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under strictly controlled temperature. Then the wine is placed in a large French oak barrels Allier and maintained throughout the year. After that wine is bottled and kept for a further 8 months in the cellars of the winery.

Tenuta Cantagallo (Tenuta Cantagallo) – winery, whose name translates as “the singing rooster”, belongs to the family Peratstsuolli since 1970. The winery is located in the picturesque town of Montalbano, known as the birthplace of the great Leonardo da Vinci. Even the local landscapes preserved in their outlines trends of the Renaissance. Today it is managed by Enrico Peratstsuolli, which accounts for the founder’s grandson. It conveys the passion for winemaking, honoring ancient traditions and love for their land – all eloquently expressed in his wines. Enrico – a good manager, he is completely updated and refurbished equipment winery cellar. Vineyards farms occupy about 3 hectares of land, much of which is given over to the local grape Sangiovese is also grown Cabernet Sauvignon. All work carried out on the principle – “a bottle of wine from the vine.”
