Wine Terenzuola, Vermentino Nero, Toscana IGT, 2020

Introduction

Dry white wine “Vigne Basse” Vermentino is the region of Liguria, famous for its white wines. The vineyards are located in the Colli di Luni area at an altitude of 100 m above sea level. Soils rich in sand and clay rocks, vines are grown on the Guyot system. Crop harvested by hand in September, after which the berries are soft pressed. Wort macerated to precipitate for 48 hours and then fermented in steel containers at low temperatures. The wine is aged on the lees for three months in stainless steel tanks. Wine is bottled in February. “Vigne Basse” Vermentino shows a clean, intense aroma and balanced taste with a range of expressive ripe fruit. It is recommended to serve with fish dishes, Asian dishes and snacks.
