Wine Tommaso Bussola, “Ca’del Laito” Ripasso, Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, 2019

Introduction

“Ca’del Laito” Ripasso – complex fruity red wine made from grapes grown in vineyards in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. In order to achieve the depth and character of the wine “Ka’del Laith” Ripasso is re-fermented. Then the wine is aged in oak barrels and 17 months passes fining with egg white and bottled. After 3 months of aging in additional bottles of wine goes on sale.

In the famous Italian Valpolicella wine region, in the province of Veneto is a winery Tommaso Bussola, one of the three leading manufacturers of local wines. The owner of the economy, is not a descendant of the family of winemakers, and far from having a wine specialty mason, nevertheless had a fairly clear idea of this activity, as it helps in the work of his uncle, Bussola Giuseppe winemaker at his vineyard. They grow old local clones: Rondinella – 20% Corvina Gross – 25% Korvinone – 40%. They occupy a significant area of the economy Tommaso, who is proud and appreciates those varieties that have naturally low yields. In addition to these varieties in the vineyards Bussol grow old vine Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Dindarelly and Pindar.
